This is a good read IMO for whatever it’s worth. As usual I read first before watching the video at the beginning. I did glance at the polls, but I’m still not one who pays attention to them. We’re seen when whatever they said in the past collapsed because too many put credence in them, maybe not even voting. I fully agree with this though: "We can debate and disagree but we cannot fight with one another. It would be a disastrous response to the opportunity that lies in front of us.” I love that Johnson has lost control of the House. Let’s get busy, and do what we can to support an honest government. Love the byline. Of course the village idiot is blaming the Dems for this shutdown when in fact it’s him and his chicken party is what is responsible, always has been. IMO he’s trying to divert attention from this with what is happening in the Middle East. If this corrupt regime is not placing back pay now on the GOP in Congress, he’s looking to switch responsibility to them. Guess what, fool. It doesn’t work that way. We KNOW who’s responsible who is really incapable of governing. Remember this always. Post it somewhere so you remember who is responsible for this stuff we’re all going through with the shutdown: “They’ve worked so hard to have us forget about the Epstein files and what they contain [I haven’t so I doubt it’s working elsewhere]. Let’s make sure they don’t do that.” Btw, WE are the focus of what the Dems want to pass. This stands out: " we are living in the 'against stupidity we have no defense' era.” What would happen if we had PMQs. I miss those like Thatcher. The examples given remind us of what democracy looks like.
