ALL PIPELINES 9/18 - STOP GENOCIDE & it’s not in Gaza/Ecosystem Attack/StandWithUkraine/climate/Human Rights/ProtectSacred Sites
That opening statement is so true. We’ve been seeing it since 1/20/2025. Geez, that opening paragraph lays it all out as it is. That’s what else we’ve been seeing. this op-ed is the bomb! We have been seeing lots of innocent targets in the immigration raids where this regime scrambles to levy charges against people just trying to do the right thing, especially at showing up for immigration appts at federal buildings. Do you really need this reminder? This head of the FBI is some tool: "But in hollowing out the bureau of experienced professionals and taking a job far beyond his capabilities, Patel has not only politicized the FBI but also multiplied the chances of gaffes and errors.” Look at what this regime has done to our economy already because of extreme incompetence. This is a must read IMO. Jen hits on most of the convicted felon’s failures. - Bumbling Bullies are Still Dangerous
Part of the title here is from Timothy Snyder’s book On Tyranny. If you haven’t read it, it should be a must read. I keep a copy here on my laptop. Notice the boldfaced concluding sentence from the excerpt given. It’s fact. Simon connects how this is where we are now. READ IT! Something else to keep in mind now, considering the escalation we’re witnessing now. “As we proceed it is critical that we take what Trump, Stephen Miller, and the regime are saying at face value. Discounting their statements with whatever version of it cannot happen here that has false comfort to so many needs to end.” In fact, this entire paragraph needs a close reading. This entire text must be read. He’s really pissed off that everyone hasn’t bent their knee to him. Our work is laid out for us. This has to be a group effort. Otherwise we’ll be faced with the same thing we have now. I doubt that’s what most of us don’t want to see. Simon does include some of our accomplishments. Not everyone is giving in to what the felon wants like the Fed which refused his “insane demands for much bigger interest cuts.” I shared the Democratic party’s statement in the wee hours last night through Hakeem Jeffries newsletter that you can subscribe to. And you’ve probably heard about the second strike felon47 “made the unilateral decision to carry out a military strike on the premise that a small boat holding three people off the coast of Venezuela somehow posed an emergency created by an attack upon the United States and warranted lethal military force rather than a law enforcement response.” This orange menace is OUT of control. - We Must Demand Courage, The People Have Rejected Trump’s Strongman Politics, Terrific New Tariff Ad in Alaska
It appears that Dworkin feels as I do about polls like I do, but because of this drop that appeared in the Economist/Youth Gov poll he did share it. An important comment re: RFK Jr’s so-called policy on youth vaccines stymied her and she refused to comply with his orders because they had no “‘no data to point to’” other than pointing out that he lied when questioned. More was revealed at this questioning this time by Dr. Houry revealed. According to Dworkin, “Kennedy should just go head and resign. Two Dems, Jamie Raskin & Eric Swawell raked Patel over the coals. Yes, we all know Patel bombed big time. Jasmine Crockett’s spout today is quoted here, which is spot on. Love this by Obama that wraps this newsletter up. I really miss having decent folks in the White House, the House, and the Senate, all in control, doing what they took at oath to do, protect the Constitution and us, their constituents. - Great News for the Resistance: Trump’s Approval Tanks, Kash and Kennedy Roasted In Congress, and More
Take a good look at the byline to this article from Heated. This isn’t a surprise to me at all. The REAL Charlie Kirk and where his funding came from. This is quite a read that shouldn’t be missed. Just the subheadings are enough to show that, and the evidence presented after each one. This is what Kirk supported: "This, however, was objectively false. The data within Wright’s report was meticulously criticized by 85 publishing climate scientists, who issued a 439-page rebuttal pointing out various misrepresentations, messy citations, cherry-picking, and factual errors.” If you recognize that climate change does exist and that we are indeed in the middle of a real climate crisis, this is an important read. Please share. - Charlie Kirk was a fossil fuel industry plant
A strong byline will catch your eye. Greg Sargent has written about this, worth reading. Dems have already reacted to this (mentioning again the Hakeem Jeffries announcements. IMO Carr is lazy or he already knows, but refuses to reveal what he knows. IMO the entire regime is crooked. Let this statement sink in: "And so Carr here is going further than in his original rationale, i.e., that the FCC could pull licenses in the 'public interest' due to Kimmel’s supposed spreading of misinformation about Kirk.” This is also food for thought: "Those experts all told me that Carr may be keeping his public commentary about all this just vague enough to avoid direct lawbreaking. But Democrats should do all they can to find out whether Carr is breaking the law in addition to violating the Constitution.” I have a feeling, for instance, seeing what Whoopi has said at the end of The View cut off before she can say it again for all of us watching the show. - Trump’s Ouster of Jimmy Kimmel Is Much Worse Than You Think It is
This is definitely something I opposed for years. I still remember when I was able to used wind energy that cost me $5 a month for that, and that SCE tacked on another $45 to my bill sometimes even more. This is nuts. We shouldn’t have to pay for their mistakes/ineptitude. We’re NOT their bank. - Electric Bills To Spike In Southern California
This is how it should be. The felon is doing all that he is illegally, and he’s being called out for this. This I really like seeing: "Lin, a judge in the Northern District of California, said she was prepared to add UCLA’s National Institutes of Health grant recipients to an ongoing class-action lawsuit that has already led to the reversal of tens of millions of dollars in grants from the National Science Foundation, Environmental Protection Agency, National Endowment for the Humanities and other federal agencies to UC campuses.” Good to see that UCLA is not caving to the felon’s attempted extortion. - Federal judge is ‘inclined' to order Trump to restore $500 million in UCLA in research grants
