ALL PIPELINES 9/01 - STOP GENOCIDE & it’s not in Gaza/Ecosystem Attack/StandWithUkraine/climate/Human Rights/ProtectSacred Sites
This should be happening across the country. Glad at least it’s happening here. Of course I’m standing with the immigrants and against ICE. Nice to see it has happened locally. Great opening paragraph. And let this sink in: “No Sleep For ICE is just one of several pop-up actions that have proliferated over the last several months throughout Southern California.” Another reason to make sure Hawley never gets anywhere is this: “In June Union de Barrio received a letter addressed to Gochez from Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri, who identified himself as chair of the Subcommittee on Crime and Counterterrorism.” ”Hawley accused the organization of providing 'logistical support and financial resources to individuals engaged in these disruptive actions.” A copy of the letter is included within this article. IMO the disruptive actions have come from the GOP and this corrupt administration and the actions they have caused that also wastes our tax dollars at the same time. Keep standing up against this corrupt administration. - In Southern California, Small Groups of Activists Quietly Undermine ICE Operations
Really glad to see Malcolm Kenyatta mentioned here as he participates in his own protest for the citizens of PA. Great description here: "When questioned about the National Guard helping local law enforcement, Moore said: 'They’re picking up trash.' Moore called it ‘performative' and unsustainable—with the cost of the Guard deployment in DC costing around $1 million a day. Talk about waste, fraud, and abuse.” This is exactly what this is. In terms of what Gov. Pritzker says, this is so true: "'He hasn’t read any books. He doesn’t seem to understand the Constitution.' And he never will.” The felon is an ignorant old man, trying to stay out of prison. And then there are those Epstein files. Let’s see them NOW. - Trump Unravels, Protesters Surge, and Governors Refuse to Bow
This description is an interesting one: "'Wile E. Coyote moment.’” This is how well the economy is doing for this particular administration is doing: “Growth and hiring have slowed, and long-term interest rates have have climbed as fear of protracted inflation ripples through the economy. Yes. this administration is failing. No surprise. Neither is this: “Trump thereby leaves Americans vulnerable to shocks that normal administrations would have spotted, responded to, and minimized before they could devastate people’s lives and wallets.” Yup, he’s failing. He has no clue what he’s doing. This is definitely FACT: "Democrats would have drawn up impeachment articles or demanded activation of the 25th Amendment. By now, however, we should not be surprised that spineless Republicans desperate to keep cushy jobs would rather see the economy self-destruct than speak up and risk MAGA wrath.” Chew on that for a while. - The Most Communist President Ever
I won’t be surprised. The felon fails and fails and fails some more. It should backfire just like everything else he tries. Extremely strong opening paragraph. You don’t find out till several paragraphs in who this other fool who is becoming even more brazen in his actions is, Pulte. Think about this, too: "The real question this raises is: Why is Pulte scrutinizing mortgages that just happen to belong to many high-profile opponents of Trump, and how did he come to select these targets?” And let this sink in: "Pulte is apparently manipulating agency processes for the express purpose of creating a pretext for referring matters involving Trump’s designated enemies to DOJ.” This damn administration is so freaking corrupt it has gotten way beyond what is acceptable, and all involved should have charges drawn against them. This is more abuse of power, period. Think about this for a few minutes: "Scholars of authoritarianism tell us that the existence of cadres of willing accomplices who are not just eager to bend or break laws to carry out the leader’s designs, but also come to see themselves as utterly unconstrained by any prospect of accountability, is itself a telltale sign of descent.” What is your take on this? I keep seeing more and more fraud and corruption coming from the White House. And this should happen for sure: "Democrats should be making it absolutely clear, right now, that anyone who carries out corrupt or illegal orders for Trump cannot count on bureaucratic obscurity to shield them from political or legal accountability later." Democrats, are you listening?Great Greg Sargent article. IMO it’s a must read. - Furious Trump’s Firing of Fed’s Lisa Cook May Be About to Backfire
Just listen to parts of General Milley’s retirement speech today. The text here is worth reading as well. - Remember Your Oath: Washington DC
Interesting and fitting title. This is exactly what’s happening, all this to give billionaires more money. The second paragraph says it all. Biden did so much more for all of us than this ignoramus. This is fact that the ignoramus refuses to believe: “Trump insists tariffs are making America rich. Reality check: imports make up only 11% of GDP, and a weighted tariff rate is about nine percent. But the spectacle gives corporations cover to jack up prices.” This is what this so called economic policy is doing to families across the U.S. Another fact: "None of this is accidental. Trump thrives on volatility.” This is fact about this corrupt administration: "The pattern is clear: Trump governs by disruption. He rules through executive orders, purges career officials, and dismantles the regulatory guardrails that markets depend on for predictability." This is definitely worth a read. - Trump’s Mirage Economy Is Putting America In Foreclosure
