ALL PIPELINES 8/29- STOP GENOCIDE & it’s not in Gaza/Ecosystem Attack/StandWithUkraine/climate/Human Rights/ProtectSacred Sites
RFK, Jr. should be fired. In fact he never should have been confirmed. The crazed incompetent in the White House is trying to fire the wrong person. He likes keeping his incompetents on his cabinets. Leavitt continues to show how incompetent she is. And then those of us who are trying to keep ourselves healthy, we’re facing this: "Leavitt pretended Trump is defending the integrity of our vaccine system—but RFK is destroying it, and the continuing CDC walkout also wrecks her claim.” Good listen. It’s fact that she isn’t following the orange guy’s agenda. He cares nothing about Americans being healthy. Don Moynihan is Greg Sargent’s guest today. Greg Sargent quotes Dr. Richard Besser, some serious food for thought: "'As bad as things have been since January, the firing of thousands of federal health workers, extreme budget cuts, the ongoing assault on our nation’s vaccination system, what we saw yesterday was another level entirely, an extraordinary and systematic dismantling of the very top of our nation’s public health system.’” That is frightening in itself. In terms of the CDC recovering from this incompetent guy in the WH, it is said it may take generations. Look at what else Moynihan says after that prediction, which btw is something that has been said by others about this so-called presidency. Look too as what we have coming the fault being placed where it should, on the convicted felon. That part is at the end. Most definitely worth a listen. Please share. - Podcast: Trump’s Press Sec’s Dimwitted Spin Implodes as RFK’s Firing Fiasco Worsens
Listen to a former CDC employee as she reacts to what the effects will be of her and others leaving the CDC. It’s a short listen. Just keep in mind what the orange fool’s cabinet members are doing to the rest of us. It’s much worse than you know who’s first time. He must be impeached, both him and his cabinet, his entire cabinet. They’re a danger to all of us. - Vaccine disputes and agency departures put U.S. at risk, a former CDC official says.
Where there’s a will, there is a say as the saying goes. It isn’t easy. I still remember. It’s somewhat similar for single parent families. I know too what it’s like to not qualify for programs even during the school year "did not qualify for a state voucher” for before and after school care. No matter what time of year, it is difficult for many parents to find a safe place for their children while they worked. I know I dealt with it annually, sometimes having to find something else when something unforeseen pops up. Sad that this came out as children go back to school. - This summer, parents stitched together child care to give their kids a 'space for Black joy’
I was hoping that Simon Rosenberg was taking some time off. The news keeps coming, much news we want to hear, like this about Ernst. I really like that idea of challenging the convicted felon daily. I know it’s difficult for some to do with their jobs, which is important for them and their families. Still please try to do what you can. And as it says in boldfaced type, "We Need To Be Loud, Very Loud Next Week.” The four things we need to focus on should be obvious, the tariffs, blocking expansion of ICE & the military, and this too: his " war on science, higher education and our public health; demand the removal of madman Robert Kennedy, get him FIRED. And lastly, but not least, stand with Ukraine, against Putin. This of course stands out with this last one: “Bring back the Senate Russian sanctions bill that already has 80 co-sponsors.” Of course this is what we have to do for our survival, for our families, for each other: "We just have to fight harder to mitigate the damage he is doing and do not get lulled into complacency by the increasingly likely prospect that the midterms will go our way 14 months from now. We can and must do more.” - Ernst Is Out, Leon Krauze On Challenging Trump Far More Directly, Every Day
I have absolutely no problem with this whatsoever. Do you? The only issue I have is that immunity clause passed by the SCOTUS that protects the felon, something that never should have been done. He HAS been a criminal most of his life. That byline really packs a punch, and I do agree with it 100%. I believe in the rule of law, something this corrupt administration ignores. It is my sincere hope that that first paragraph packs a huge punch that we will see the effect of it really soon. Gelernt’s quote speaks volumes IMO. Watch the video included. This is what’s happening. Remember the plane that ignored the court orders to turn around in the beginning? Yes, this is going back this far. I may not be a lawyer but something stinks right here in DC: "Those judges, Gregory Katsas and Neomi Rao, vacated the probable-cause order for different reasons. Dissenting Judge Cornelia Pillard, an Obama appointee, said that her colleagues did Boasberg a 'grave disservice.'” - ACLU pushes to revive criminal contempt against Trump officials
Interesting excuses his regime is giving for the bruises on his hand. Of course, my favorite part is the longish section on this guy who happens to be my governor, Gov. Gavin Newsom. - Trump’s Deteriorating Health Raises Alarms As He Faces Massive Protests In NYC and DC
While this publication isn’t my favorite, its title drew my attention, and yup I’m cheering against that old fool who belongs in prison. WOW, that opening paragraph from their opinion. It is unfortunate that the tariffs remain in place till October. Why give that ignorant, incompetent old man time to appeal this ruling with SCOTUS? If these tariffs “go away” Americans will be in much better shape without them. WE pay for them. The orange felon neglects to tell us that. Of course whomever is speaking for him will defend his illegal actions. That’s what they do. One day they will pay for their lies. Interesting read, even that about Congress. - Appeals court says Trump unlawfully leaned on emergency powers to impose tariffs
That big orange bully is such a loser, so bent on taking retribution on those who don’t support him. Well, guess what? No one is going to start liking this old, decrepit fool. As the byline indicates, governors are take a huge role opposing him, and of course, he falls apart. This is an article by Greg Sargent. This sure is accurate: "Critically, Pritzker cast Trump as a malignant, active threat to his Illinois constituents—he called them 'my people'—and vowed to use every ounce of his power to protect them from harm by the President of the United States." Pritzker is stepping up like Newsom. WOW, they are standing up - look at that third paragraph alone. No one in his/her right mind would ever support the ignorant head of HHS. The blue states are stepping up. Let this sink in: “Here Noah Smith’s formulation “is useful: We are at risk, he says, of becoming the “richest third world country,” a place where “politics is starting to look decidedly like something you’d encounter in a dysfunctional middle-income nation.” The unshackled strongman whims currently wrecking our institutions and demolishing the professionalized bureaucracy are central to this story, and Democratic governors can tell it.” And then that closing statement, you’ll have to read it for yourself. WOW just WOW. Excellent read. Please share far and wide. Everyone should read this even those who are fool enough to continue to support this corrupt regime in DC. - Trump’s Decapitation of CDC Takes Darker Turn — and Hands Dems a Weapon
