Note an example of Resolutions that has been passed in different communities. Interesting text included with this piece as piece. Where else have we seen something similar to this: “Shocker! Putin is not interested in peace….” And as usual Putin played felon47 like a fool.As always things you can do in order to take back our country. As always things you can do in order to take back our country. - Bringing Our Resolution Project To Communities Across The Country - An Uplifting Discussion With Dr. Deborah Potter and Rachel Poliner
They continue to threaten her for these interviews. They’re the lawless ones, the TX Republicans. We won’t forget this come next year. Burrows is a fool, and showing the world this by confining Nicole Collier to the TX House. These actions of the TX GOP will have their actions come back and bite them, HARD. Let this sink in: “[T]he text of the rule gives Burrows no authority whatsoever to confine her, much less threaten her with arrest for refusing an escort. She’s not a child! With Nicole filing this habeas corpus, it makes this stand out even more, esp. for Burrows: "But habeas is just the start. If Burrows’s legal cover falls away, as it should, his conduct isn’t just unauthorized — it violates any of a number of civil and criminal laws. Payback is coming. The GOP continue to show us what criminals they are. - The Lawless Detention of Nicole Collier
I had to laugh reading this title. The GOP sure do have a HUGE problem. While I don’t agree with what is said about the standing of the Dems presented in this article, I most definitely agree the GOP has a huge problem as said here: “[C]hanging the rules of the game mid-cycle is not the action of a political party that feels confident about the future.” Yes, the GOP has underperformed since gaining control of the House. Yes, we’re now dealing with the results of this past election with this: “One of the keys to Trump’s victory (IMO a pretty small one at that)was the support of infrequent voters who turned out specifically to vote for him.” We (DEMS) have to hit the polls in HUGE droves. As has been said earlier, it’s necessary now to make sure you have the necessary documents to register. This also makes me laugh: “The GOP’s cult-like devotion to Trump has also emptied the party's bench of viable national candidates.” This too is going to come back to haunt the GOP (good!): “The recent vote on the One Big Beautiful Bill is a clear indication that Republicans, desperate to avoid a MAGA primary challenge, will stick with Trump.” Have they backed themselves into a corner or have they backed themselves into a corner? - The GOP Has a Post-Trump Problem
I’m still standing with Apache Stronghold. Nothing can change that. The most anti-American in his country is that orange menace sitting in the White House threatening all of us with his failed policies who continues to violate the Constitution. He’s so incompetent, that it has gotten to the point where there are no words to describe it. His ignorance abounds. That second key point is a huge one. Now we have to wait till 10/14 for a decision. Want to know more, much is presented in this article. Yes, it's worth reading. Please share. - Arizona tribal leaders fire back after Trump calls Oak Creek foes 'Anti-American’
Just let this sink in: "U.S. District Judge Dominic W. Lanza on Friday denied the tribe and environmental groups’ challenges, which had cleared the way for the land transfer to go through. In his order, he acknowledged the mine would destroy the sacred area and use a massive amount of the region’s scarce groundwater.” Remember too that nothing said by any arm of this corrupt administration is worth squat. All they do is destroy for profit. I have no respect for any politician who doesn’t respect his/her constituents. Why does this not surprise me: "Two cases against the land transfer primarily argued that the Forest Service had inadequately consulted the tribe and violated the National Environmental Policy Act.” What you learn here about the late John McCain is another reason why I have never had any respect for him. He did absolutely nothing to benefit the indigenous peoples of Arizona. One question, why allow mining in a place that is not only sacred to the tribes but also “is listed in the National Register of Historic Places”? Never mind the waste of water, something that is quite a limited resource in Arizona, in the desert. The tribes were here first. Their beliefs should be honored first. That means no freaking mine. - Court delays land transfer that would enable copper mine at Oak Flat
This IS total insanity. As I keep saying this SCOTUS is totally corrupt, and deserves to have those corrupt members impeached like those on the right wing giving felon47 whatever he wants rather than reining him in from all his madness, his actions that attacks anything related to diversity. That means: Roberts, Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, Coney-Barrett. This is allowing out and out racism. I’m actually surprised that Roberts actually did the right thing and sided with those who were against this measure. Much of what this current SCOTUS does is unlawful, and are doing whatever they like rather than follow the law, not their racist tendencies. - US Supreme Court lets Trump cut diversity-related NIH grants
I agree with Dworkin and I’ve never lived in DC, but I have lived during his first administration and now this one as he continues to destroy what we all cherish and make money off of us, often by illegal means. He does need not only to be impeached but removed as well as is said in this piece. I’m willing to bet that the docs Rep. Robert Garcia mentioned was it yesterday that are supposed to be given to them in the House will never be handed very. The GOP continue to do whatever they can to protect their corrupt leader that they continually bend a knee to, and totally forget who they should be working for, us, but will continue to forget about us as usual. And many of us are feeling this way: "Dem Rep. Greg Casar showed up and gave an impassioned speech, saying: 'They’re afraid … they can see amongst all of us, people being mobilized across the state of Texas—that have had it with a corrupt governor, a corrupt president, and a corrupt attorney general.’” - Trump Is A Tyrant. Here’s How Folks Are Fighting Back
If you live in CA, this is an important listen if you haven’t already. The other side, supposedly Dems in the state, are already campaigning against prop 50 which involves how redistricting will be dealt with in CA where the people make the choice in Nov. unlike what’s happening in TX which is a power grab to take our freedoms from us, not giving the citizens in that state to add their voice. I will not listen to those pushing their point of view, making it sound like it’s a good thing, but considering what it would cause to happen will steal our freedoms, our democracy away from us. Just read the opening sentence here: "Gerrymandering is not a political squabble between Democrats and Republicans; it’s part of Trump’s comprehensive plan to try to make sure he and MAGA can’t lose future elections." - Redistricting: We Draw the Line
This had to come out eventually. Miller isn’t a strong individual, never has been. What felon47 is doing taking over DC isn’t going well like they want, but hey, no one wants them there anymore than we wanted those military folks and ICE in LA. Miller’s forgetting facts. One, his so-called boss did not win by a landslide. Two, he has no clue about what this administration is doing to their cities. His lies about the terrible crime rate that is nonexistent in DC. In fact most don’t buy into what this administration is doing to all of us, and we will speak out. This podcast with Greg Sargent includes his discussion with Monica Potts. Demonstrators should be speakig up in places like DC. They are revolting against the wannabe king. And we will keep on standing up making both the felon’s and Miller’s lives difficult, so if they can’t handle it, they should leave because it’s not going away. They are exercising their first amendment rights, and they have serious issues with what these two among others in this corrupt administration, so they’re speaking out and will keep speaking out. "We will not go gentle into that good night" as Dylan Thomas has said. - Stephen Miller Erupts in Manic Fascist Rant—And Reveals a Big Weakness
This is definitely on the rise. It was hard enough experiencing it growing up. That opening sentence is exactly what I experienced growing up. Even elementary school was almost intolerable. This is one way to look at what it’s like for Jewish students, even adults. Think about this: "When crowds hurled racist chants at Black students or when attackers targeted Muslim students after 9/11, universities didn’t shrug and say 'free speech,' they enforced Title VI. Nobody called that censorship, and nobody thought it prevented teaching about Jim Crow or Islam. The same principle should apply to antisemitism.” See what I mean? One heading spells like how this has changed, “Antisemitism in New Clothes.” Want to understand what Jewish students and their families are experiencing? Read this. It is a beginning.
