I usually watch The View religiously. The end of last week on that show, a section was included called “Ladies Got Lit.” I’ve read two of the books Ana Navarro-Cárdenas recommended, one years ago when my daughter was in high school, The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende, and the one I couldn’t put down that I finished today, Catalina by Karla Cornejo Villavicencio. I highly recommend both. I listened to the latter text as read by the author. What a treat that was.
