Those of us who support protecting Oak Flat doubt it as well. It’s a freaking double standard. This mine would do as said, destroy this religious site. Would really like to see opinions to this: “One expert believes the legal argument should shift from upholding the rights of individual Native people to upholding tribal rights to their religions.” I tend to agree with this. If you care about preserving Oak Flat as I do, you may want to read this. This is a good read. Judge Chutkan is on the job, fairly & unbiased. Obviously the felon is running scared.
