ALL PIPELINES 6/04 - STOP GENOCIDE & it’s not in Gaza/Ecosystem Attack/StandWithUkraine/climate/Human Rights/ProtectSacred
Those of us with critical thinking skills already knew this. That’s what comes out of the GOP, scams, so they can make more money. TACO is NOT going to get his budget. As I said yesterday, he’s weak. Alex Shephard is Greg Sargent’s guest on today’s podcast. Good point - there isn’t a lot of waste in the government like Musk,TACO, and the GOP had claimed. Musk has tantrums just like TACO. Both IMO are weak. Oh wow, long conversation, 20 minutes, Johnson claims to have had with Musk. SMH Johnson is still pushing the scam. TACO claims no cuts to Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. He ignores mentioning the ballooning of the deficit. He projects what his low-info voters want to see, nothing but lies, but they’ll fall for this. The rest of us won’t. - Trump Rages at Worsening Budget Bill Fiasco as Musk Admits It’s a Scam
Interesting press release that I wasn’t expecting though I know the fight goes on for Oak Flat. this is happening Friday. - Judge to Consider Motions to Block Oak Flat Land Exchange
Just an FYI, but I don’t trust Musk one iota. He’s no different than TACO. He’s all about himself. Let this sink in about TACO and his uh corrupt regime: "The four pillars of Trump’s 'more for me, less for you' economic agenda - tariffs, reconciliation, mass deportations and an assault on science, research and academia - will leave America poorer; greater in debt; with a broken public health system; a slower economy and interest rates, prices and inflation at elevated levels; working and middle class shouldering a greater share of the tax burden; labor shortages particularly in rural areas; unprecedented corruption; and our companies far less competitive relative to other nations.” Think y’all will want to listen closely to the video here, re your health care. - Musk Calls Trump Bill “A Disgusting Abomination,” Charles Gaba On MAGA’s Savage Assault On Health Care in America
This is from this morning, but it’s still relevant, especially considering the GOP have no real plan over than instituting 2025. Interesting first paragraph. It is a description of how that ugly budget was rammed through the House. For those who still think Dems aren’t working for them, think this should be required reading. Now this bill is in the Senates’ hands. We don’t want this bill to pass. If it doesn’t the Felon’s tax cuts will expire which is exactly what we want. Contact your senators, especially those of you living in red states, and make your opposition to this bill known loud and often. Convince your friends to join you in these calls. If you're a Dem, calls still need to be made. - Republicans Have No Good Options on the Budget
Interesting discussion, not all on topic. They understand TACO, one of the topics discussed. about 8-10 minutes in I started listening intently, but I did tune in because of my support for Ukraine. I love the difference O’Brien sees between Ukraine and Russia: “The Ukrainian military has an adaptability, the Russian military just doesn’t have.” Note too what O’Brien calls an easy win for TACO that he ignores. - Adam and Professor Prof. Phillips O’Brien
Note the links within, including the one Adam promises to include in the video. Veterans have been hard hit by this administration as most of us already know. Most definitely worth a listen. - Why veterans will lead hundreds of protests on D-Day: Q & A with Prof.Jamie Rowen
If you’re wondering why I'm posting this, then you haven’t picked up on the fact that I oppose drilling and mining in Alaska, and on any other public lands. I will add that Doug Burgum was never the right person for the job he now holds which is the case for every other cabinet secretary and their uh regime in this corrupt administration. They’re all about destruction and making money. As said this was posted in The Guardian. - Trump officials open up millions of acres in Alaska to drilling and mining
Fact: "President Donald Trump’s second term in office has highlighted that disinformation continues to pose a significant threat to our democracy and the rule of law.” Both a previous interview is included as well as a link for a current copy of the paperback edition that does present updates not in earlier versions. The current corrupt administration has “used the debater's trick of the either/or fallacy, causing people to believe that there are only two sides in America, us versus them, red versus blue, good versus evil,” something taught in AP English Language courses in high schools. this is not only a great read but an important one. We all must be aware of the tactics this corrupt administration is using, even those low info voters. The best part here is the list of what we can do to fight disinformation at the end of the article. I just bought a copy of the newest edition of the paperback. Granted I know what this administration's tactics are (I taught AP English Language for many years). Argument was our main focus though not the only one. You can never have too many resources. - Barb McQuade With More On Disinformation
This is addressing our health care, Medicaid to be specific in the beginning, and so much more. This is an important listen that should be shared far and wide even though many of us know this, but there are those few low-info voters. Think about them too. Listen to learn how we can take our power back. And yes, we are reminded that those in Congress are borrowing from us, that power, about micro community of influence, calling your state and national reps and senators. Abrams likens politicians to teenagers, what motivates them: [T]hey respond to money, peer pressure, and attention.” Don’t fall for the psychological warfare. Become an expert on your state's election procedures. Stacey mentions Fair Fight. - Stacey Abrams joins us for The Aristocracy and Democracy Series
