ALL PIPELINES 5/23 - STOP GENOCIDE & it’s not in Gaza/Ecosystem Attack/StandWithUkraine/climate/Human Rights/ProtectSacred
As is very much deserved, something to listen to, the fact about this lunatic convicted felon losing it even more as he has put us into more danger. Who is he to think he can tell universities who can attend them? He really is an ignorant piece of crap, nothing but a childish bully. This is what the ignorant look like. Jonathan Friedman of PEN America is Greg Sargent’s podcast guest today to discuss this madness, the convicted felon’s abuse of power that continues to spread, disrupting many lives. We already know Speaker Johnson is no different. Don’t forget too that Executive Orders aren’t law. Think of the loss of scientific research/knowledge, what is learned is something else being lost that helps all of us eventually. I expect to see serious backlash against this abusive corrupt administration. This is a wrecking ball approach that will swing back hard at this administration. - Trump’s Angry New Attack on Harvard is About to Blow Up in His Face
This is a given no matter what this current corrupt administration with this unhinged bully at the top, this convicted felon and his criminal administration. I can see how his fantasies of running for a third term is nothing more than another attempt to grift. I do believe in the Constitution. Still an interesting argument presented here. - The Constitution Still Holds
I will look later and post about the live event that I’ve obviously missed today as well. We all need to see positive things with all the negativity coming from the White House and the GOP in the House. My first post this morning was related to Harvard. I’m glad to see they’re suing this administration for the crap they’re trying to pull. This wannabe king, wannabe dictation, also seems to see himself as G-d. - On This Memorial Day Weekend America Needs A New Birth Of Freedom
No, I haven’t forgotten about the encampments at Harvard or what transpired with one of its former presidents, Claudine Gay, before she resigned. I haven’t forgotten the encampments or how the Jewish students were treated, but, and yes, there is a but, not all international students should be blocked from attending. I would think a more thorough vetting process is needed in terms of their connections to these violent Islamic groups is checked. This is worth a read. It seems this current corrupt administration has kind of lost already with its threats against Harvard. A temporary restraining order has blocked the government, a win for us. I still feel the orange menace is trying to dumb down students educated here because he isn’t that bright himself. He is afraid of the educated. - University sues Trump administration over move to bar international students, scholars
This has nothing to do with the fires last year in LA County. This is yet for another fire, the Bobcat Fire from 2020. I wonder if something like this will happen as a result of the recent LA County fires where so many lost everything. I can’t see that not happening. - SoCal Edison To Pay Record Sum For Destructive LA County
I did promise to share this once it was posted. I have to strongly agree with Simon, "that investing in state parties matters." As Anderson reminds us that early investment allowed her to hire staff and start their work earlier than in previous years and build a much stronger statewide organization.” Learn what she was able to do to make our Democratic party stronger in NC. If you’re an NC voter and want to see if you’re one of the voters the Republicans tried to disenfranchise, check out this link: https://thegriffinlist.com/. Yes, the courts are important. We need to do this again. This is a GREAT discussion. - Enjoy This Wonderful, Uplifting Discussion With Anderson Clayton
Cohen does present good points that should make some of us feel a little better about the 2024 election, and what our standing is now. I’m one of those “consistent voters”. Notice that the convicted felon got what he wanted and that’s why he now occupies the Oval Office. The problem we had in this last election (2024) may prove to be like that in the future to the GOP according to this. I sure hope so, and will do what I can to make that a reality. I totally agree with this statement made: “Kamala Harris Ran a Better Campaign Than She Is Given Credit For.” Interesting that Latino voter support dropped the most, especially considering what’s happening now to people of color. It’s mostly the men, thus the gender gap. That also sends a different signal IMO. This is also freaky: “White, college-educated voters shifted to the right, and by significantly more than White noncollege voters did.” Men of course. SMH. Hey guys. Get your acts together if you want to stop what we’ve seen so far since 1/20/25. Take the time to read this. You might even want to look at the actual report itself that is linked in the first paragraph. So much is presented just in this piece alone. - The 2024 Election Annotated
A bit of a summary of this past week re: the actions of this current corrupt administration. Keep the bad news coming affecting the unhinged convicted felon, the continual pathological liar, occupying the Oval Office. - Backlash From Ugly Budget Bill and More Bad News For Trump
Something many of us already at least suspected. Resist! Past time we strike back, maybe in class action suits. Bondi is so damn corrupt. She really should be disbarred immediately. No more red states! Habba should be disbarred as well for obvious reasons. You should see what I mean by what she has said. Also, another one with no experience prosecuting anyone, and most definitely is off the rails. We have no professional DOJ now, only one that now primarily serves the convicted felon. No comparison exists between LaMonica McIver and the Jan. 6 insurrectionists. So this doesn’t exist anymore in the DOJ? “The Department manual specified that any prosecution against a member of Congress had to be approved by the Public Integrity Section of the Criminal Division.” Sounds like a conflict of interest in the Cuomo case. We are seeing prosecutorial overreach as is described here. Quite a read here. - Not normal but very real
I spent my Friday night watching October 8, a documentary about antisemitism, about Jew hate. If you don’t see the connection, think about what happened on October 7, 2023. Do I need to say more? I found it available to rent so I did.
More do need to actually sit down, put their prejudices aside and watch this. We’re talking about truth, how so many have been affected, why all this hate needs to stop now.
Just maybe one or two can be moved to see the connections to what has been happening here in the US alone in our cities, on our college campuses, that these protests go beyond free speech, to embrace peace, then just maybe the terrorist propaganda can be stopped and thrown aside.
