This is from yesterday, but yesterday being what it was, I didn’t get a chance to read emails. With what we’re facing now with this orange menace in the Oval Office, here’s a little something to allow to sink in: this chump “has invoked the International Emergency Economic Powersn of 1977, or IEEPA , which he says gives him the authority to unilaterally impose tariffs in a national emergency.” Also this is supposed to be part of it, the “'unusual and extraordinary threat' to the nation.” Our so-called emergency is him, and nothing else plus that last part doesn’t exist. This is a good read. Maybe some of us fall in the atheist Jew category, but it doesn’t make us less Jewish. The catastrophic events of 10/7 live on in all of us, drawing us together as antisemitism continues to rise. I didn’t have any grandparents to warn me. They had all passed before my parents married. Their parents escaped the pogroms in what was called Russia, which is now Ukraine, the Kviv area. Not all of my relatives left. Some I know didn’t survive the Holocaust. This is not something before now that I’ve really been open about much. - This is what our grandparents warned us about. This is what happens when you stand on the wrong side of history.  Maybe MSNBC should have thought about NOT giving the convicted felon so much coverage. This is no surprise, what is implied by the title of this from Hopium.
