I have mentioned on some social media platforms what people can do who have lost confidence in corporate media publications as suggested by Jen Rubin who was a guest of Marc Elias on his podcast yesterday, surprisingly saying people should subscribe to local newspapers, to other nonprofits who do actually report the news, and so much more. In fact, I will be posting that after this post because I know I’m not alone in terms of what I can do to fight back against the convicted felon who will be taking office in January, and has already started his mayhem. This is an example of honest reporting that Jen Rubin was talking about. I think many of us would agree with what Harry Litman says. - No Middle Ground
The aforementioned interview is here. It is an interview not to miss as some of us are still reeling from the results of Nov. 5. - The Issue With Democrats and the Media With Jen Rubin
The perfect example of the Russian disinformation machine. Of course the Russians lie. They should continue to call out the Russians for their BS IMO. Continue to expose the facts. - The Azerbaijan Airlines Crash Fuels Allegations of Russian Involvement as Disinformation Campaigns Intensify
Many of us do care about this. Unfortunately the clean energy I had signed up for a couple years ago, wind energy, is no longer available. I found out this month. It’s difficult to find when a person rents. - The clean energy transition, in 10 charts
The thing is this is what they’ve always been, empty distractions. We have to stand up to this BS as a united front, and I do mean daily. And keep this in mind: "we can’t forget that Trump has always used outlandish lies to distract us from something worse.” We’ve known this in what seems forever. - These Lies Are Nothing But Distractions
I’ve alway been a supporter of protecting old growth. In another life I created a webquest, using the characters in a novel to address just that. Reading this article hurts me to my core. My concern is not only related to the old-growth at risk but also the wildlife also affected. I don’t see anything related to action that can be taken, especially for those of us living outside of Oregon. - Old-growth trees are on the chopping block in southern Oregon
