If you watched or are watching The Last Word this is a paraphrase for the most part of what Lawrence said on 9/26: the most important vote of your life will be for president of the US. The second most important vote of your life will be for the Senate. If we lose the Senate no appointments for federal judges that Kamala Harris nominates can be confirmed. I plan on repeating most of this every day that I post on my blog. Everyone needs the reminder often.

This is why we need to make sure to get all out to vote, that we convince our friends and neighbors to get out and vote, that we do what we can to help people make it to the polls to vote. This also means checking our registration status, update our registration if needed, and make no excuses. Sitting this one out for whatever reason some may try to concoct isn't acceptable. Way too much is at stake. Otherwise that will be sentencing us to him making Project 2025 a reality. We must all vote to make sure the felon loses by a huge landslide. It's up to us to do our job. Remember judges are also at stake in this election. We don't need anymore of the felon's choices. - If Trump wins the election, US parks and wildlife will face a new age of mining.

This is no surprise tho it does give us all another reason to vote for all Democrats. This is a good read. Maybe some of us fall in the atheist Jew category, but it doesn’t make us less Jewish. The catastrophic events of 10/7 live on in all of us, drawing us together as antisemitism continues to rise. I didn’t have any grandparents to warn me. They had all passed before my parents married. Their parents escaped the pogroms in what was called Russia, which is now Ukraine, the Kviv area. Not all of my relatives left. Some I know didn’t survive the Holocaust. This is not something before now that I’ve really been open about much. - This is what our grandparents warned us about.
