If you watched or are watching The Last Word this is a paraphrase for the most part of what Lawrence said on 9/26: the most important vote of your life will be for president of the US. The second most important vote of your life will be for the Senate. If we lose the Senate no appointments for federal judges that Kamala Harris nominates can be confirmed. This is a good read. Maybe some of us fall in the atheist Jew category, but it doesn’t make us less Jewish. The catastrophic events of 10/7 live on in all of us, drawing us together as antisemitism continues to rise. I didn’t have any grandparents to warn me. They had all passed before my parents married.
