Mary Trump does know him best as does his uncle. Mary does call him a racist in the opening sentencet, something most of us know already. - The Sad, Tired Specticle
I love this, and don't think Kamala Harris snubbed anyone. By her choosing Walz as her running mate who has many positives in terms of his background plus as said in the byline, this will make MN's governor the first Native woman should Harris and Walz win in November, something many of us want to happen and will be working our butts off to make it become a reality. That alone speaks volumes. - Harris victory would clear the way for first Native woman governor
Interesting post by Joyce Vance. She makes great points before Kamala Harris made her choice. I had to laugh at part of this this (I think you can figure out easily what I'm referring to here: "Neither wears eyeliner or has ever yelled at their kid to quit talking about Pokemon while he’s on the phone with Donald Trump." Have to agree with her about what she says re: the SCOTUS, about Thomas and Alito in particular. Lots of good news in this post, most definitely should be read to see what she has to say, covering a lot. - Politics and Prosecutions
An important read considering school is about the start. We saw what happened at the universities in the spring. This is sorely needed IMO for whatever it's worth. This is a very good read. - In time for a potentially turbulent school year, new course focuses on Black-Jewish ties | The Times of Israel
I love Kamala's choice. People in MN know about him, but I wonder how many outside of MN know much about him. This is a good article that introduces just who her running mate is. - Harris chooses Gov. Tim Walz -- an abortion rights and public education advocate -- as running mate
Want to see more about Gov. Tim Walz? Try this 5 minute plus video. - 5 minutes and 26 seconds of Tim Walz being AWESOME
This is fine with me. Seems people are waking up to just what Project 2025 is all about. Granted I put no credence in polls. Still this tells me what I've just said. - Project 2025 Is an Unmitigated Polling Disaster for Trump and Republicans
Posting this for those who have issues with Kamala Harris's choice for VP. This is something people have to remember: "In picking Walz, Kamala Harris looked at something broader than winning one state." - Why Tim Walz is the Right Choice for VP
I just love this. - Snapshot: It's Tim Walz
This is how it should be. Really glad to see this. It should happen as well against other universities where this kind of lawsuit has been brought. Finally, maybe Harvard should have put in place what Columbia has done to settle lawsuits against them. - US judge approves antisemitism lawsuit against Harvard, rejecting dismissal bid
Leave it to Mary Trump to say it like it is for her uncle, well-deserved. She knows her uncle is really scared of this duo now running against him. Think about this: "I hope Donald keeps this up. He’s creating a caricature of Walz that has no basis in reality and these attacks are not going to resonate with anybody except those of his followers who are still in thrall to, as opposed to heartily sick of, Donald’s apocalyptic vision of America" and more. - Walz Wields Weird
This is fact. This is something else we can never forget. It wasn't just at Carlisle and other similar boarding schools across this country or in Canada. - At least 95 indigenous children died in federal boarding schools in New Mexico
The byline should be enough to convince even the undecided voters to vote for Democrats beginning with Harris and Walz at the top. A link to the entire article, which was published on 8/2 is given at the bottom of this one. Just this scares the hell out of me: "'The Trump administration has worked to weaken safeguards for nearly 35 million acres — nearly 1,000 times more than the administration has protected.'”- How Project 2025 Could Threaten Public Lands
I keep posting about this because I've opposed the use of nuclear energy for years as well as the mining of uranium. That's not going to change. This is supposed to be a deep dive into this particular topic, the Navajo opposing shipments and more. Too many issues remain because of this type of mining. This is a long article. You can choose to listen to it. Do I trust Energy Fuels? HELL NO! The mining has always been about the money to be made. Don't think otherwise.
