Housing was a serious issue at UCSD beginning after my daughter's 2nd year there. She had to find housing off campus, which she did luckily. I wonder if this will provide enough housing for undergrad students attending UCSD so that they won't have to go through this. It was a serious headache. I've been reading this by Joyce Vance tonight. She's correct. We don't know what will happen. We need to focus again. In this post she focuses on the education chapter of Project 2025. As a retired educator who taught for close to 40 years in more than one school district in more than one state, both as a substitute teacher when there were no jobs to be had plus I had been told I was too expensive, that they could hire 2 1/2 teachers for what they would have to pay me (this was in AZ), but I was hired by the district that that now 2nd largest in the nation where I taught for almost 40 years in CA. She informs us that this particular chapter is 44 pages long. The GOP are hoping we don't read or study it. Read what she has to say here. It begins about a quarter of the way down this page.
