Just because. Read what is said here, seriously. - Weekly Recap 7/6:P The One Where the Media Goes Off the Rails
Totally agree with what this article has to say. We have to squash this traitorous behavior. If nothing else let that concluding paragraph sink in. - Any Democrat Trying To Oust Biden Is A Traitor
Couldn't agree more. Let this sink in. This is fact: “People downwind – including many in Arizona – were exposed to dangerous fallout, typically without warning.” We're talking about RECA here. - Navajo uranium miners, people downwind of atom bomb tests demand justice as Congress lets aid program lapse
Yes, I'm posting more about this. The reason: I've been watching, researching articles about the effects of uranium mining, particularly on the Navajo Reservation, for years. Everything I read continues to solidify why I'm so dead set against any uranium mining. I think about how it affected and continues to affect Navajo families. It's in the dirt, it's in their homes, in the water, yet no one was ever warned about its dangers. Enough already. This isn't a short article, but it's worth the time especially if you care about the lives of others, something the GOP show us continually that they don't. Let this sink in: "Navajo water is still contaminated with uranium poisoning, which the EPA says has caused a surge in health complications and premature death among uranium miners and Navajo children." Do you understand now why I've been so focused on this? - Uranium still poisoning Navajo people. But they can't stop the ore from coming
As we see here, facts do matter. The media is attacking Biden but doing nothing to expose the convicted felon who is his opponent. Biden's opponent needs to be examined. Hasn't he refused all requests? - Time For the Media to Examine Trump's Brain
This was published almost two weeks ago. Didn't know about the uranium contamination of the land and the people living on it, watch this. It's less than an hour. Unfortunately too many commercials are interspersed in this documentary, often popping just popping up. This is another example of power companies using the land of indigenous peoples, not giving a damn about what happened to the people living there. Think about the numbers of those who know nothing about this still. The "warnings" led to what Terry Tempest Williams wrote about in Refuge: An Unnatural History of Family and Place. Speaker Johnson is the one responsible for RECA expiring because he did nothing about it. Note the info where you can flood his accounts re: his inaction. - Navajo Nation is a Radioactive Wasteland | Full Documentary
If nothing else read the first paragraph, then think about what it means. Are we going to allow voter suppression to stop us from voting, or are we going to do whatever we can to make sure our votes count. We have to stop the convicted felon. - The Week Ahead - Civil Discourse with Joyce Vance
Facts do matter. Watch this. The convicted felon has been railing against mail-in voting for four years. - Republicans Sue to Make Vote-In Voting Harder
Something needs to be done like now. This fight shouldn't have been fought for this long. This is beyond ridiculous. Think about this: "523 abandoned uranium mines" on the Navajo reservation. The Senate has already done its job voting to extend RECA in March. Then there's the lack luster House, doing nothing, again. - Northern Arizonans continue fight for aid on uranium exposure, nuclear testing as program lapses
