They were talking with Kamala Harris on The View today about this very topic, a bill to fix our broken immigration system. She iterated that the Biden administration had offered a bill on the day after his inauguration that the Republicans refused to even speak about. The Republicans are the party of chaos. In an election year, they don't want to do anything that will make Biden look good. They claim the only way something can be accomplished with a Republican in the White House. Notice too how the Senate is reacting. It's not the same. I'm so tired of their shenanigans. As for Speaker Johnson, he has no control. Still don't believe the GOP are up to attacking your rights? If you're a woman, the title alone here should shake you to the core. We're lucky to still control the Senate so this will go no where. Posting to make sure you see the GOP's intentions. That mention of a "Pro-Live caucus" chills me to the bone as it's anything but. If it really was they'd do something about guns instead of their usual "thoughts and prayers" BS. Still an important read if you're following the tensions in the Middle East along with comparisons to the war in Ukraine. Terrorist groups need to be taken out IMO. Not good. It is a surprise to me. Why would a large number of Dems be feeling this way unless the GOP has convinced them of the lies they tell about the border? Is this another poll not to pay attention to? I don't see the why answered in this, and it should be IMO. Another thing comes to mind. Is it related to the caravans sent by Abbott and DeSantis to sanctuary cities? Is this part of their strategy? The Republicans will continue to make this their number one issue and will continue to refuse to do anything about our broken immigration system. We know from the Harris interview on The View that the GOP refuses to do a thing. - Poll: Immigration debate deeply divides California Democrats

Of course the village idiot is blaming the Dems for this shutdown when in fact it’s him and his chicken party is what is responsible, always has been. IMO he’s trying to divert attention from this with what is happening in the Middle East. If this corrupt regime is not placing back pay now on the GOP in Congress, he’s looking to switch responsibility to them. Guess what, fool. It doesn’t work that way. We KNOW who’s responsible who is really incapable of governing. Remember this always. Post it somewhere so you remember who is responsible for this stuff we’re all going through with the shutdown: “They’ve worked so hard to have us forget about the Epstein files and what they contain [I haven’t so I doubt it’s working elsewhere].
