I see this op-ed as a wonderful way for AP Lang and AP US History to get together and debate the facts presented here. Every once in a while I see things like this that cause me to look back. The idea about researching history is something that many should be doing before commenting on a lot of the posts that we see on social media. - Opinion | Get real and read some history. The past was worse. 

Which do you think is the most accurate? IMO the last administration's grade would be an F-. As for now, I have to agree with the incomplete assessments. - How did the U.S. address the climate crisis in 2023? 8 experts graded our progress.

Love the byline. Of course the village idiot is blaming the Dems for this shutdown when in fact it’s him and his chicken party is what is responsible, always has been. IMO he’s trying to divert attention from this with what is happening in the Middle East. If this corrupt regime is not placing back pay now on the GOP in Congress, he’s looking to switch responsibility to them. Guess what, fool. It doesn’t work that way. We KNOW who’s responsible who is really incapable of governing. Remember this always. Post it somewhere so you remember who is responsible for this stuff we’re all going through with the shutdown: “They’ve worked so hard to have us forget about the Epstein files and what they contain [I haven’t so I doubt it’s working elsewhere]. Let’s make sure they don’t do that.” Btw, WE are the focus of what the Dems want to pass. This stands out: " we are living in the 'against stupidity we have no defense' era.” What would happen if we had PMQs. I miss those like Thatcher. The examples given remind us of what democracy looks like.
