Maybe Newsom did put a friend in Kamala Harris' seat but also Padilla has been a godsend for CA in his effectiveness and rise. He's qualified for the job. He's forgetting too that CA voters chose to keep Padilla in office. That's not just the result of him being an incumbent. This is a good read. Judge Chutkan is on the job, fairly & unbiased. Obviously the felon is running scared.
