One of my favorite authors wrote this, Terry Tempest Williams. I happen to agree with what she says here. This isn't the first time I've read it nor will it be the last. Will we ever learn? Apparently not since we have another threatening us with nuclear warheads. For those of you who have followed me for a while know that I've also mentioned "The Clan of One-Breasted Women" that makes up the epilogue of Refuge: An Unnatural History of Family & Place, one of my favorite books of hers. I think of the Nevada Test Site too. Detailed read here. Really don't give a damn what Dmitry Peskov has to say. As for the Republican criticisms about these expenditures, really don't care what they think either. They're shown their true colors. They've shown us time and time again that they stand with Putin, the big bully who is attempting to steal Ukraine, who is responsible for the war crimes being committed. I realize why Biden doesn't want these weapons he has approved to reach into Russia. I understand why, that constant threat of nuclear warfare. But how long can Ukraine continue to suffer the blows from Russia, the destruction, the murder of civilians, of the children. No, this isn't a war of attrition. When is this going to stop? If nothing else, read the last paragraph. Continue to call out the GOP for their weak excuses in terms of #GunReform. Call out the corrupt #NRA. Our numbers are many. We must head to the polls in numbers greater than in 2020. Vote as if your lives depend on it. If we don't vote out the scourge that is the GOP, we will never get past this. Too many have lost their lives to needless gun violence. The time to stop this is NOW! - Democrats Should "Do Something" the Way the GOP does Things.

Love the byline. Of course the village idiot is blaming the Dems for this shutdown when in fact it’s him and his chicken party is what is responsible, always has been. IMO he’s trying to divert attention from this with what is happening in the Middle East. If this corrupt regime is not placing back pay now on the GOP in Congress, he’s looking to switch responsibility to them. Guess what, fool. It doesn’t work that way. We KNOW who’s responsible who is really incapable of governing. Remember this always. Post it somewhere so you remember who is responsible for this stuff we’re all going through with the shutdown: “They’ve worked so hard to have us forget about the Epstein files and what they contain [I haven’t so I doubt it’s working elsewhere]. Let’s make sure they don’t do that.” Btw, WE are the focus of what the Dems want to pass.
