When I was still working I participated in a Facing History and Ourselves program, something that was brought into the classroom afterwards. Valuable lessons were learned IMHO.It's something that needs to continue happening. Just maybe by doing so, we can stop horrific things like that mass shooting in Buffalo from happening. Students do need to learn lessons from the past to stop them from happening again. Children in Ukraine aren't the first to express their fears through their art. It's needed for release. Glad that adults have realized this.
