STOP ALL PIPELINES 5/18 STOP CULTURAL GENOCIDE/Ecosystem Attack/StandWithUkraine

Russia is still attacking in the region, the eastern part of Ukraine, looking to control the Donetsk province. Still Ukraine is repelling some of these attacks. -  Putting a stamp on nation's war effort

Russia wanted Mariupol because it is an imp cog in Ukraine's economics and this: "Capturing Mariupol gives Russia a land bridge between Ukrainian territories that it occupied illegally several years ago." Just what will Mariupol mean for Russia when in fact Russia has destroyed most of the city as described here: "Capturing Mariupol gives Russia a land bridge between Ukrainian territories that it occupied illegally several years ago." I can't help but wonder if Ukraine will take Mariupol back as it has so many other Ukrainian cities already. Putin's "victory" may be short lived. Then there's the focus on the stand where Ukrainian soldiers gave the Russian ship the finger & sank it. Concern now shifts to the treatment of Ukrainian soldiers by the Russians, considering what we know about them already. - Mariupol's fall may portend a shift in war

Short video. Just 10 years? Seriously? He reminds me of Eichmann putting the blame on someone else, saying he was ordered to shoot 62 year old man. Russians are still calling this staged, fake. Screw them with their lies. - A Russian soldier pleads guilty to killing a civilian and violating ‘the laws and customs of war.’

Smart move by the EU, considering how Russia has responded to their support of Ukraine. - EU rushes out $300 billion roadmap to ditch Russian energy via @ABC

This can't be denied - 1 big thing: Troubling climate indicators #axiosgenerate

"A key part of his plan is to advance renewable energy storage."- 2. UN boss unveils new clean energy proposals #axiosgenerate

Yes, this most definitely matters. - The charge to keep EV batteries out of the trash

Not surprising at all. In spite of some changes, this is still a serious problem. Think emissions from driving and industrial pollution. - Pollution caused 1 in 6 deaths globally for five years, study says

His concerns are more for the size of his bank account. We really need to make this guy irrelevant ASAP. Coal has destroyed West VA as it exacerbates climate change. If he did his job as he should, he would be relaying how renewable energy can improve their lives. - In West Virginia, the clean-energy transition rests on Joe Manchin

Really don't care what the GOP have to say about this. Make up your own minds. Stop being led through the nose. Informative video at the end. - Homeland secretary readies forces for end of Title 42 at South Texas border

Granted the focus here is AZ, it's still something that applies to the rest of the West as well. - Forests often regenerate after wildfires. Why the climate crisis could change that via @azcentral

Do I need to explain why this is NOT the case? Do I need to include why this pipeline must be shut down, that it never should have had oil flowing through it? - Jessica Reznicek set fire to Dakota Access Pipeline construction. Is she a terrorist?

There was an earlier film with a similar title released a few years back by the Sacred Land Film Project. This one relates only to DAPL. - Indie Film ‘On Sacred Ground’ To North American Release via @D-Rezzed

When I was still working I participated in a Facing History and Ourselves program, something that was brought into the classroom afterwards. Valuable lessons were learned IMHO.It's something that needs to continue happening. Just maybe by doing so, we can stop horrific things like that mass shooting in Buffalo from happening. Students do need to learn lessons from the past to stop them from happening again. It may not fix everything but its sure as hell worth a try - Lessons in hate from the Holocaust to Buffalo via @Harvard

ALL PIPELINES 7/01 - STOP GENOCIDE & it’s not in Gaza/Ecosystem Attack/StandWithUkraine/climate/Human Rights/ProtectSacred

The big UGLY bill passed the Senate today.  This statement speaks volumes: " By threatening Tillis, Trump has only drawn more attention to Tillis’s truth-telling about his swindle of MAGA voters.” The guest for this Sargent podcast is a Republic is Timothy Noah. The byline does the same. The convicted felon has banned from the GOP. How does anyone really do that? The felon as usual shows what a loser he is as well as how much he LIES.  Interesting all who are afraid of alienating the orange menace. The felon has animal instincts. He’s not especially smart. The bill will pass.  Most definitely worth a listen. - Trump’s Fury at Thom Tillis Backfires, Wrecking His Vile Medicaid Scam I’d like to see this happen to this convicted felon occupying the White House as well as every member of his family as well as all members of his cabinet. The fact that this might now be our reality should raise red flags. Yes, it’s happening. Looks like this corrupt administration is also using ...

This is a good read. Maybe some of us fall in the atheist Jew category, but it doesn’t make us less Jewish. The catastrophic events of 10/7 live on in all of us, drawing us together as antisemitism continues to rise. I didn’t have any grandparents to warn me. They had all passed before my parents married. Their parents escaped the pogroms in what was called Russia, which is now Ukraine, the Kviv area. Not all of my relatives left. Some I know didn’t survive the Holocaust. This is not something before now that I’ve really been open about much. - This is what our grandparents warned us about. This is what happens when you stand on the wrong side of history.  Maybe MSNBC should have thought about NOT giving the convicted felon so much coverage. Just maybe Joy should have through twice before siding with Ham@s. Most of us do not intend to go back. Y'all made bad decisions, and now you'll just have to deal with it. - JUST IN: MSNBC loses almost HALF Its Viewers in Stunning Post-Elec...

This is no surprise, what is implied by the title of this from Hopium. Worth a read. - Trump Is Making America Poorer, Weaker, Less Safe And Less Free And the American People Are Unhappy About It   This is what we’ll continue to see in the White House. Interesting anti-Trump statue now at the National Mall. I’m hoping someone will be posting pictures of this for all of us to see. What’s included on the plaque is fitting for sure. That Booker/Padilla bill must pass with enough votes to override any veto likely to come from the White House. That in itself will be tough. Keep asking about Epstein. - A New White House Meltdown and More Bad News For Trump Breaking news opens this interview: Basically Bondi has lied about the Epstein. Give that byline time to sink in. What the hell is up with Paramount? This gives me good reason NOT to use this streaming service. Geez, a side deal. All that’s happening with the mainstream news gives the rest of us good reason to not support any deals mad...
