Just maybe they should look at how well the "federal border wall" has failed, already a colossal waste of money for nothing. Also what else comes to mind are the ecosystems destroyed by this barrier. Which is more important, protecting the environment and the wildlife that life within, or a barrier that will fail? Don't forget the border wall installed by the previous administration was basically to appease the ego of a weak minded individual. This is a good read. Maybe some of us fall in the atheist Jew category, but it doesn’t make us less Jewish. The catastrophic events of 10/7 live on in all of us, drawing us together as antisemitism continues to rise. I didn’t have any grandparents to warn me. They had all passed before my parents married. Their parents escaped the pogroms in what was called Russia, which is now Ukraine, the Kviv area. Not all of my relatives left. Some I know didn’t survive the Holocaust. This is not something before now that I’ve really been open about much. - This is what our grandparents warned us about.
