The conundrum many teachers face in the classroom. Some of us just decide to move past the restrictions the powers that be try to place on us, doing what is necessary for our students to learn. This doesn’t just happen in history classrooms. Yes, questions that arise can make some uncomfortable. Move past that too. More than likely some states will try to censor this kind of discussion in high school classrooms. More than likely they wouldn't know it if it was right in front of them. Personally I don't trust @RepJohnCurtis at all. Anything he does appears for show, not substance. He has no issues with drilling in Bears Ears. In facts he welcomes it. Love the byline. Of course the village idiot is blaming the Dems for this shutdown when in fact it’s him and his chicken party is what is responsible, always has been. IMO he’s trying to divert attention from this with what is happening in the Middle East. If this corrupt regime is not placing back pay now on the GOP in Congress, he’s looking to switch responsibility to them. Guess what, fool. It doesn’t work that way. We KNOW who’s responsible who is really incapable of governing. Remember this always. Post it somewhere so you remember who is responsible for this stuff we’re all going through with the shutdown: “They’ve worked so hard to have us forget about the Epstein files and what they contain [I haven’t so I doubt it’s working elsewhere]. Let’s make sure they don’t do that.” Btw, WE are the focus of what the Dems want to pass. The examples given remind us of what democracy looks like.
