Quite a read. I knew from experience how hot it can be in AZ in the Phx/Tempe area. This blew my mind. As for that discussion of electric bills, I remember one of $400+ one more in the late 80s. for 1 month. This article also talked about trailer homes built before 1974 “when the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development set federal standards, tend to be poorly insulated and made from materials that are entirely inappropriate for a desert, like metal” - just a note, the GOP were in power then, Nixon in fact. Of course the village idiot is blaming the Dems for this shutdown when in fact it’s him and his chicken party is what is responsible, always has been. IMO he’s trying to divert attention from this with what is happening in the Middle East. If this corrupt regime is not placing back pay now on the GOP in Congress, he’s looking to switch responsibility to them. Guess what, fool. It doesn’t work that way. We KNOW who’s responsible who is really incapable of governing. Remember this always. Post it somewhere so you remember who is responsible for this stuff we’re all going through with the shutdown: “They’ve worked so hard to have us forget about the Epstein files and what they contain [I haven’t so I doubt it’s working elsewhere].
