Public Lands Managers Offer Advice On How To 'Recreate Responsibly' This Weekend

I know Ed Abbey has to be rolling over in his grave. He used to work in Arches sporadically & had serious issues w/ppl driving through. He thought people should get out of their cars and walk on the land in order to fully enjoy it. If  you haven’t read it, I highly recommend “Desert Solitaire” which is about this area. - PUBLIC LANDS: Energy developers seek leases near iconic Utah park via @EENewsUpdates

I'm skeptical about this especially because of other projects pushed by Utah's lawmakers, especially Rep Rob Bishop who is responsible for the rape of the land on the NN by Peabody Energy, something I will never forget as long as there's breath in my body.  Utah should seek to develop federal lands near cities, argues a former lawmaker, via @sltrib

As much as I realize we need to have a stronger dependence on renewable energy, I have to agree with this: “Public lands need careful screening to prevent industrial projects from sacrificing sensitive lands or important wildlife habitats.” - Should federal public lands be prioritized for renewable energy development?

Not good! This makes no sense: "But Morris declined to weigh in on the accuracy of the administration's conclusions." Greenhouse gases will continue to be emitted as long as any of these coal plants remain in operation - Judge nixes bid to stop coal sales that Trump revived

ALL PIPELINES 7/01 - STOP GENOCIDE & it’s not in Gaza/Ecosystem Attack/StandWithUkraine/climate/Human Rights/ProtectSacred

The big UGLY bill passed the Senate today.  This statement speaks volumes: " By threatening Tillis, Trump has only drawn more attention to Tillis’s truth-telling about his swindle of MAGA voters.” The guest for this Sargent podcast is a Republic is Timothy Noah. The byline does the same. The convicted felon has banned from the GOP. How does anyone really do that? The felon as usual shows what a loser he is as well as how much he LIES.  Interesting all who are afraid of alienating the orange menace. The felon has animal instincts. He’s not especially smart. The bill will pass.  Most definitely worth a listen. - Trump’s Fury at Thom Tillis Backfires, Wrecking His Vile Medicaid Scam I’d like to see this happen to this convicted felon occupying the White House as well as every member of his family as well as all members of his cabinet. The fact that this might now be our reality should raise red flags. Yes, it’s happening. Looks like this corrupt administration is also using ...

This is a good read. Maybe some of us fall in the atheist Jew category, but it doesn’t make us less Jewish. The catastrophic events of 10/7 live on in all of us, drawing us together as antisemitism continues to rise. I didn’t have any grandparents to warn me. They had all passed before my parents married. Their parents escaped the pogroms in what was called Russia, which is now Ukraine, the Kviv area. Not all of my relatives left. Some I know didn’t survive the Holocaust. This is not something before now that I’ve really been open about much. - This is what our grandparents warned us about. This is what happens when you stand on the wrong side of history.  Maybe MSNBC should have thought about NOT giving the convicted felon so much coverage. Just maybe Joy should have through twice before siding with Ham@s. Most of us do not intend to go back. Y'all made bad decisions, and now you'll just have to deal with it. - JUST IN: MSNBC loses almost HALF Its Viewers in Stunning Post-Elec...

ALL PIPELINES 7/09 - STOP GENOCIDE & it’s not in Gaza/Ecosystem Attack/StandWithUkraine/climate/Human Rights/ProtectSacred

This is no surprise, what is implied by the title of this from Hopium. Worth a read. - Trump Is Making America Poorer, Weaker, Less Safe And Less Free And the American People Are Unhappy About It   This is what we’ll continue to see in the White House. Interesting anti-Trump statue now at the National Mall. I’m hoping someone will be posting pictures of this for all of us to see. What’s included on the plaque is fitting for sure. That Booker/Padilla bill must pass with enough votes to override any veto likely to come from the White House. That in itself will be tough. Keep asking about Epstein. - A New White House Meltdown and More Bad News For Trump Breaking news opens this interview: Basically Bondi has lied about the Epstein. Give that byline time to sink in. What the hell is up with Paramount? This gives me good reason NOT to use this streaming service. Geez, a side deal. All that’s happening with the mainstream news gives the rest of us good reason to not support any deals mad...
