I'm going to repeat this from yesterday because it is important: Call the Army Corps and say something about the inhumane treatment the Water Protectors are receiving as well as the fact that it is impossible to clean up the camps by the date given. Army Corps & governor's office: (701) 328-2200. Tell them how oppressive and unjust the actions have been, that they should change the history, the narrative, now. Please pray for the Water Protectors' safety. The police will be going in in less than 10 minutes. Chief Arvol Looking Horse had asked all to pray for them at 2 pm mountain time.
Reading these articles I see a lot of bs, especially when ND government officials, US government officials, people of that nature, claim that "closing the camps is a matter of health and safety" yet I can't help but wonder where they were 1o/27 when a young woman nearly had her arm shot off, something Morton County is trying to say she did to herself, or when another took a direct hit in the eye at close range with what Morton County and other National Guard, out-of-state police claim to use as "less than lethal weapons." What about the attacks on 11/20? What about putting those they arrest in dog cages with little to keep them warm during a North Dakota winter? About about these trials, many of them being postponed as Morton County tries to manufacture evidence against them? What about the judge making opinionated comments that have no place in a trial or a jury of 7? What about the 1st amendment rights that have been violated again and again? Seriously? And they honestly think people are going to believe their bullshit?
The powers that be are jamming live streams again on FB. A few have tried to give a last look at Oceti Oyate. It's not happening because of this, something I consider bad faith, but am not surprised.
