Annotated Bibliography / Format for Researched Argument

Please don't forget that you should email me your annotated bibliography by 7:30 a.m., 3/29.  It should be submitted to turnitin.com as well by that time.  I will email you all a reminder over spring break.  Below are some more links that may help you create your annotated bibliography:
Note how the annotation itself is single spaced while the source entry is double spaced.  Websites are also available on line that will create these for you.  If you choose to use one of them, make sure the necessary info. is included as fer this particular assignment.  Be careful about format as well.  Sometimes when copying and pasting the indentations that take place after the first line of an entry won't transfer. DO NOT highlight any part of your annotation.  Also, make sure the web addresses ARE NOT hot links.

You might want to consult Purdue Owl regarding MLA format for your researched argument once you start on this part of this project.  I am going to require that you use footnotes when writing this because you are asked to be able to read footnotes on the AP English Language Exam.  Another useful site regarding when to quote and/or how much to quote can be found on this college website page about quotations/annotations.

Because this is such in involved assignment, I strongly suggest that you create a detailed outline for this paper so that you can not only organize your thoughts but so that you can make sure you include everything you need.  I can give you suggestions for a plan for writing if you so desire.  Please let me know ahead of time because these are not handouts I plan to copy for the class.  You should know this already, but in case you want some added support, let me know.

Of course the village idiot is blaming the Dems for this shutdown when in fact it’s him and his chicken party is what is responsible, always has been. IMO he’s trying to divert attention from this with what is happening in the Middle East. If this corrupt regime is not placing back pay now on the GOP in Congress, he’s looking to switch responsibility to them. Guess what, fool. It doesn’t work that way. We KNOW who’s responsible who is really incapable of governing. Remember this always. This stands out: " we are living in the 'against stupidity we have no defense' era.” What would happen if we had PMQs. I miss those like Thatcher. The examples given remind us of what democracy looks like. IMO this is factual: " Most of our politicians, regardless of party, couldn’t handle the intellectual preparation that PMQs requires.” I most definitely agree with this, and I doubt I’m the only one who believes this: " Imagine Convicted Felon Trump having to weekly defend the appropriateness … of EVERYTHING HE IS DOING.
