Analysis - Trump's syntax

An AP Lit. teacher learned of this video on You Tube, which he passed on to AP Language teachers.  This provides you with a review of rhetorical analysis in terms of syntax and diction. 

If you pay close attention to the analysis given of what Trump has to say in one minute presents an example of the kinds of answers he gives to questions.  It is illuminating.  Note the grade level of his answer: How Donald Trump Answers a Question. I'd suggest watching this more than once and taking careful note each time. 

Perhaps some of you might be interested in carrying on a conversation about this here on the blog?  It can prove interesting should you decide to do so.

This is a good read. Maybe some of us fall in the atheist Jew category, but it doesn’t make us less Jewish. The catastrophic events of 10/7 live on in all of us, drawing us together as antisemitism continues to rise. I didn’t have any grandparents to warn me. They had all passed before my parents married. Their parents escaped the pogroms in what was called Russia, which is now Ukraine, the Kviv area. Not all of my relatives left. Some I know didn’t survive the Holocaust. This is not something before now that I’ve really been open about much. - This is what our grandparents warned us about. This is no surprise, what is implied by the title of this from Hopium. Worth a read. - Trump Is Making America Poorer, Weaker, Less Safe And Less Free And the American People Are Unhappy About It   This is what we’ll continue to see in the White House.
