We all should read Dr. Ruth Ben-Ghiat’s recent essay also linked in the accompanying article. If nothing else, allow the excerpt included to sink in, especially the boldfaced part. Been dealing with some health issues so I’ve stayed off the internet mostly over the last week.  I really feel for the population of NYC since Mamdani was elected. I still find it hard to believe that people fell for Mamdani's BS. Good thing that he doesn't have total control once he's sworn in. Yes, i know it’s been a while. Health issues can be tricky to contend with. I do hope all who have voting coming up, especially those of us who live in CA do make sure to vote so that we can continue to stand up to the convicted felon, something that must be done to continue until this administration is long gone and erased from our memories.
